Is there a cover for the underside of the sensor porch?

The simple answer is no. There is a plastic ring that keeps the sensor coil in place. Everything is water-proof and protected from the elements.

The manufacturer decided that the addition of a plastic cover for the underside of the porch was unnecessary. It would add to the cost of the cat flap and might reduce the sensitivity of the sensor coil.
